Reading the Bible in Historical Sequence Part 10Mostră

Jesus calms a storm and heals two demoniacs (one is more notable) at Gerasenes. Returning to Capernaum, He heals a long-term hemorrhage and raises Jairus’ daughter from death.
Note 1: The Sea of Galilee, about 13 miles (21 km) long and 8 miles (13 km) wide, is located in a pocket in the hills and is subject to sudden violent storms.
Note 2 (Mark 5:2): Mark and Luke refer to only one demoniac who is evidently the more notable one. Matthew mentions two demoniacs.
Note 3: Gerasenes (Luke and Mark) and Gadarenes (Matthew) evidently refer to the same region. Gadara is one of the cities of the Decapolis near the southeast end of the Sea of Galilee and Gerasa is about 35 miles (56 km) southeast of Gadara.
