Raising kids is tough, even in the best of circumstances. In this seven-day devotional, real-world parents — who also happen to be staff members at YouVersion — share how they apply principles from God’s Word to this important aspect of their lives. Each day’s devotional includes a Verse Image you can use to help you share your own journey.

It’s crazy how much our dads shape us. No one escapes the power and influence of their earthly father. And since most men feel unprepared to be fathers, it’s essential to seek guidance – from Scripture and from other dads. Radical Wisdom is a journey toward wisdom and insight for fathers, combining principles and wisdom from Scripture with the experience of an older, wiser dad who’s learned from his mistakes.

In a busy world, we have to make space for the things that matter most. We have to learn to apply godly wisdom that will help you incorporate these activities into your busy life. In some cases, you will find that you are doing the wrong things. Or you might find that you are doing the right things for the wrong reason or in the wrong way, so they are not life-giving or fulfilling.

This Bible Plan is for parents of children with disabilities, differences, or special needs of any kind—no matter what stage you’re in on your particular journey. Read from other parents and advocates about how to deal with all of the feels, tackle the trials, and enjoy the triumphs when it comes to parenting a child who’s different.
