Bring What You Have

Dia 5 de 5

Leftovers Nothing is wasted with Jesus. Even the half-eaten bits and pieces can be of use. There are times when life gets messy and feels chaotic or out of order, like the aftermath of a large picnic with pieces of half-eaten bread and fish everywhere. However, God is in the business of bringing order out of chaos and using every little part of our lives for His good purposes. He works everything for our good, even the moments that aren’t pretty or don’t seem unusable, the parts of our lives that we would rather cast aside and forget. Maybe there’s an area of your life where you feel like a failure. We all have areas we would rather cast aside and forget about, but we serve a God who wastes nothing. I know from personal experience the greatest regrets I’ve experienced seem to have made the greatest impression on my spiritual walk. God has used them to keep me from ever going down those roads again. Also, I find when we share our failures with one another we can help each other learn from our mistakes and find encouragement. Those are the times when God uses even our failures for a purpose. He gathers the leftover, broken, stale, old parts of our lives and makes them worth using.
