Make The Choice And Live It Out Someone once asked a friend of mine how he got his three teenage boys to come to church so easily. His answer spoke volumes. "I don't think it's ever occurred to them there was a choice. It's not a new decision we make every week; we've been attending church every Sunday since before they were born." That's the idea Joshua suggests in this passage (Joshua 24:15): decide now, and follow through. Prayer: Lord, like Joshua, I want to follow you - and bring my household along the path of faith as well. Too often my commitments and decisions are wishy-washy; they lack the solidity that Joshua stood for. From this day forward, may my priority - and my family's - be you. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
