Seek First 365: A One Year Bible Reading Plan for Daily Devotion

DAY 65 OF 365

Reflection:

  • In verses 1-3, why did the apostle Paul return to Jerusalem, and how did the senior leaders of the church respond?
  • In verses 4-5, what was the agenda of “false” brothers attending church meetings? How did Paul respond to preserve the truth of the Gospel?
  • In verses 6-8, what is God unimpressed by? And what was the apostle Paul anointed to do?
  • What did James, Peter and John request Paul do as he traveled and ministered to people? Why is this vital when preaching the Gospel?

Pray and Apply:

Reflect on the difference between adhering to religious laws to earn the favor of God and receiving the grace of God as a gift given to us through Jesus. Have you ever sought to earn God’s grace through your actions? Have you ever allowed religious law to weaken your experience of God’s grace? How does God’s grace bring freedom that religious duty could never bring? Ask God to reveal the full power of His grace in your life. Then spend a few moments thanking Him for the gift of grace He has given you!

About this Plan

Seek First 365: A One Year Bible Reading Plan for Daily Devotion

Seek First 365 is a one-year Bible reading plan designed to help you build a daily rhythm of reading Scripture, meditating on God’s Word, praying, and journaling. Instead of rushing through several chapters each day, Seek First 365 invites you to slow down and focus on a single passage—or even part of a chapter. The goal isn’t speed, but transformation. Each day is crafted to help you linger in God’s Word, listen to the Spirit, and let His truth shape your heart, mind, and life.
