• In verses 1-5, how do we receive the gift of the Holy Spirit and God’s miracles in our lives?
• In verses 6-9, why is Abraham considered our father, and what can we learn from him?
• In verses 10-12, what happens to those who choose to pursue salvation by living under the law?
• In verses 13-14, what has Christ Jesus done for us?

Pray and Apply:

Reread verses 13-14, and reflect on what Christ Jesus has done for you. Because of what He has done, you are now able to receive the blessings of God and the gift of the Holy Spirit in your life. Your salvation is entirely based on what Jesus has done for you––not what you have done for God! Thank Jesus for what He has done for you, and ask Him to reveal a deeper understanding of what it means to be saved by faith and not by works. Ask the Holy Spirit to bring healing to any places of your heart that still pursue acts of performing and producing for God as a means to earn His affection, then receive His unconditional love.
