• What are some attributes of heavenly wisdom, as stated in verse 17?
• In verse 18, who will reap a harvest of righteousness? How does this promise both encourage and challenge you?

Pray and Apply:

Write down in your Seek First Journal all the qualities of earthly wisdom in one column and the qualities of heavenly wisdom in another. What quality of earthly wisdom is most prevalent in your life right now? Take a few minutes to repent of any bitter envy or selfish ambition that may lie in your heart. Then meditate for a couple minutes on the attributes of heavenly wisdom, and thank God that He gives you this type of wisdom. Ask God to create within you a character that is humble, pure, peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit.
