Praying From Victory, Not for Itਨਮੂਨਾ

Our Father in Heaven
When Jesus taught His disciples to pray, He began with: “Our Father in heaven.”
God is not an unjust judge who must be persuaded—He is a loving Father who delights in His children.
Many people pray as if God is far away or unwilling to help. But Jesus shows us a new reality: we approach God not as slaves or strangers, but as sons and daughters.
Even earthly fathers, though imperfect, know how to give good gifts. How much more will your perfect heavenly Father provide what you need?
And notice—He’s “Our Father in heaven.” That means He operates from a place beyond limitation. No shortage, no delay, no impossibility can stop Him.
When you pray, don’t limit God to what your eyes can see. Heaven’s resources are unlimited. God may not drop money into your account, but He can release an idea, an opportunity, or a divine connection that opens doors you never imagined.
Your Father in heaven is faithful and limitless. Pray with confidence and expectation.
Reflection Questions
- What limits have you placed on God’s ability to answer your prayers?
- How does knowing your Father is in heaven change your faith and outlook?
Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You that You are not limited by my circumstances. You see every need and You care deeply for me. Lift my eyes to heaven’s perspective and help me trust You for more than I can imagine. I rest in Your goodness today. Amen.
