21 Days of Prayer & Fastingਨਮੂਨਾ

Daily Devotion and Prayer Life
Jesus, the Son of God, made time to be alone with the Father in prayer, regularly and intentionally. If He, in all His divinity, needed that connection, how much more do we? Yet in our busy lives, prayer and time in the Word can become something we squeeze in, if at all.
A strong spiritual life isn’t built on occasional encounters with God but on daily, faithful time spent in His presence. This doesn’t mean long hours every day, but it does mean consistent, sincere engagement. Just as physical food sustains our bodies, God’s Word and prayer nourish our souls. Without them, we run dry, losing peace, strength, and direction.
You don’t need to start big. Begin small. Set aside a few minutes each day to read Scripture, talk to God, and listen. Over time, what begins as a habit becomes a lifeline.
Reflection Questions:
- What time of day can I realistically commit to spending time with God daily?
- What distractions do I need to remove to make space for consistent prayer and Bible reading?
Prayer:
Lord, I confess that I often allow the busyness of life to push You aside. Forgive me for the times I’ve neglected Your Word and prayer. Help me develop a daily rhythm of devotion that draws me closer to You. Give me the desire, focus, and consistency to seek You every day. May my relationship with You grow deeper as I build this habit. Amen.
