Discovering and Walking in Your Spiritual Gifts

Have you ever been ready to go somewhere, but your phone’s dead? It’s wild how differently we act when our battery’s low. We dim the screen, close apps, and conserve energy. We go into survival mode.

The same thing happens spiritually. When our hearts are on “E,” we grow cautious, disconnected, and self-focused. We stop dreaming big, serving others, and taking spiritual risks. But when we’re charged up, connected to His Word and filled with His Spirit, we live differently. We move with purpose and shine brightly.

Gathering as the Church recharges us, but like a phone, we’re not meant to stay on the charger. We’re meant to go out full of power and purpose! God didn’t just save you, He equipped you. He wired you with natural gifts and filled you with supernatural ones. Those gifts aren’t for status but for service.

Just like Moses with a stutter or fishermen who changed the world, God doesn’t need impressive people, He just needs our yes. When you stay connected to the Source, He’ll do the charging and the sending.

• When do I feel most “charged up” spiritually?
• What gifts or passions has God placed in me that I’m not fully using?
• Where is God calling me to say “yes” and trust Him?

Prayer:
Father, thank You for creating me with purpose and filling me with Your Spirit. I don’t want to live on empty—I want to live full of Your power. Reveal the gifts You’ve placed in me and show me how to use them to build Your Church. Keep me connected to You, my Source, so I can walk boldly in my calling. Recharge me today and send me out shining bright for Your glory. Amen.
