The Pursuit - 12 Weeksਨਮੂਨਾ

John 20 opens with grief. Mary Magdalene goes to the tomb, only to find it empty. Peter and John race there, confused. It seems like tragedy has only deepened. But then, in the garden, Mary hears her name. She turns and sees Jesus alive.
This chapter is the turning point of history. Jesus’ resurrection isn’t just a happy ending to a sad story. It’s the ultimate proof of who He is. A dead savior can’t save anyone. But a risen Lord can conquer sin, death, and the grave.
The resurrection also transforms fear into faith. The disciples were hiding behind locked doors, terrified. Then Jesus appears and says, “Peace be with you.” Everything changes. These once-frightened men will soon become bold witnesses, willing to die for the message they now know is true: Jesus is alive.
And don’t miss Thomas. He doubted until he saw the wounds for himself. But Jesus met him in his doubt and led him to faith: “My Lord and my God!” That’s the right response to the risen Christ.
Reflection:
How does the reality of the resurrection give you hope and courage for your own life?
