The Aroma of Christਨਮੂਨਾ

Day 3: Let us be a Fragrance of Obedience
The writer John Bunyan, famous for his book, “The Pilgrim’s Progress,” wrote: “Whatever God says is best is best, though all the world says otherwise.”
One of the things that has most impacted my life about Jesus is His obedience to the Father. The Word of God teaches us in the book of Philippians 2:8 that Jesus, being in human form, was obedient to the point of death—death on a cross. Being one hundred percent God and one hundred percent Man, our Lord Jesus Christ followed to the T the purpose for which He came to this world. He suffered temptations, fatigue, and pain like any of us, but He did not lose sight of the goal: to obey God. His life and His surrender to the Father's plan was, without a doubt, the most fragrant, pleasing aroma to God that will ever exist.
Friends, not only as daughters of God, but as mothers, we must keep this in mind. What God says is best is best. He created the universe, our world, and ourselves. He knows us like no one else, but He also loves us like no one else ever will. We are a precious jewel to Him. The crown of His creation! Created in His image and likeness. With one purpose: to glorify God.
Being obedient doesn't just require willpower and motivation. Being obedient is the fruit of the love we have for God and trust in His Word. It comes from the heart. That's why it's so important to teach our children that being obedient shows our gratitude to God, our love, and trust in His guidance. We must teach them that our obedience spreads the aroma of Christ to the world.
Let's pray. Dear Father, help us to be the mothers that show Jesus and his image to our precious kids, to our precious children. May they see an obedient heart in their mothers. Help us Father to trust you and to seek you with all of our hearts because of your guidance. Your guidance is all that we need. We glorify your name, Lord. We thank you in the name of Jesus. Amen.
