Devotions on F.I.R.E. Year Twoਨਮੂਨਾ

The harvest is past, the summer is ended, and we are not saved! (Jeremiah 8:20 NKJV).
Is your heart aligned with the Savior’s heart?
Paul reminded Timothy that God’s heart longs for all people to be saved and come to know the truth. He writes, “For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth” (1 Timothy 2:3–4 NKJV). Moreover, Jesus gave Himself as a ransom for all, not just some, demonstrating the depth of His love for all of humanity (1 Timothy 2:6).
Do your desires align with God’s heart for the lost? How are you actively participating in His mission to rescue souls? Take a moment to consider how you can share Christ’s love and truth with those around you. Are you seeking opportunities to share the Gospel with those in need?
Employment Point: Align your heart with the Savior of mankind.

About this Plan

Devotions on F.I.R.E. journeys through the Bible in one year. Each day includes a devotion based on Dr. Burge’s F.I.R.E. method of Bible Study. F.I.R.E. stands for Familiarity, Interpretation, Relationship, and Employment. The F.I.R.E. method and the daily devotions help readers remember and apply what they read as they fuel the fire in their hearts for God’s Word—adapted from the book Devotions on F.I.R.E. Year Two, by Dr. Ken J. Burge, Sr.
