Devotions on F.I.R.E. Year Twoਨਮੂਨਾ

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me (Philippians 4:13 NKJV).
Are you waiting upon God for your provision?
In Philippians 4, Paul, while under house arrest, trusted God to meet his needs through the generosity of fellow Christians. He understood that God’s riches are limitless, and those led by the Spirit are generous: “And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:19 NKJV).
Are you trusting God for provision in your life, or relying on your own efforts? In Isaiah 40, the prophet illustrates God’s greatness: He measures the waters in His hands and weighs the mountains. Surely, the God who holds up the universe can meet your needs! What’s one area in your life where you need to trust God more?
Employment Point: Trust the all-powerful God to supply your needs.

About this Plan

Devotions on F.I.R.E. journeys through the Bible in one year. Each day includes a devotion based on Dr. Burge’s F.I.R.E. method of Bible Study. F.I.R.E. stands for Familiarity, Interpretation, Relationship, and Employment. The F.I.R.E. method and the daily devotions help readers remember and apply what they read as they fuel the fire in their hearts for God’s Word—adapted from the book Devotions on F.I.R.E. Year Two, by Dr. Ken J. Burge, Sr.
