Do you serve others even when it is inconvenient?

Our Lord chose not to exercise some of His attributes while on earth, but “He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross” (Philippians 2:8 NKJV). Paul urges us to adopt the same attitude of humility and service.

Paul follows in Jesus’ footsteps. “Yes, and if I am being poured out as a drink offering on the sacrifice and service of your faith, I am glad and rejoice with you all” (Philippians 2:17 NKJV). As a drink offering is poured out to the ground, Paul willingly sacrifices his life for others. Timothy and Epaphroditus demonstrated this mindset, willingly serving others even at great personal cost.

When was the last time you put someone else’s needs before your own? It's easy to serve when it's convenient, but true Christlikeness shines in sacrificial moments. What small sacrifice can you make today to serve someone in need?
