Strengthen Your Faith #7 Baptized With the Holy Spiritਨਮੂਨਾ

Removing the Obstacles
The baptism in the Holy Spirit doesn't happen through a magic formula. It's not just a matter of saying two prayers and then, boom, it happens. It doesn't work that way. It's something deep that happens when the heart is truly open and willing. But if there are obstacles within us, prayer becomes empty. Not because God doesn’t want to give, but because He finds no room to enter.
What are the main obstacles?
1. Lack of forgiveness.
If there’s someone we can’t, or won’t, forgive, that’s a serious problem. Resentment blocks the Spirit. How can we receive God’s love if our heart is still full of hatred or bitterness?
2. Inner resistance.
Sometimes we say, “Come, Holy Spirit!”, but deep down we don’t really want anything to change. We’re afraid of losing control, afraid of letting go of our sense of security. Yet, that’s exactly where we need to trust Him.
The beautiful thing is, God doesn’t leave us alone. If we call on Him sincerely, even in the midst of our weaknesses, He helps us overcome every obstacle. Slowly, one by one, those walls fall, and the Spirit enters.
So don’t be discouraged. Be honest with God, recognize the blocks, and entrust them to Him. The Spirit is stronger than any barrier.
