College & Christ: A 30-Day Devotional for College Girlsਨਮੂਨਾ

Serving Others
Jesus said this to His disciples when they were arguing about who was the greatest. “For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.” (Mark 10:45) Contrary to most people's idea of greatness, Jesus taught that true greatness is found in serving.
College often tells you to focus on yourself...your GPA, your resume, your success. But Jesus says true greatness looks like service. This can be something small like holding the door for someone, tutoring a struggling classmate, or encouraging a stressed-out roommate. Ultimately, these small things reflect Jesus’ heart. College campuses often have many opportunities to volunteer and serve. I challenge you today to find something that interests you and see how you can be a part of it.

About this Plan

As a mom, youth leader, and someone who has worked with teen girls for over 14 years, I know this season can feel both exciting and overwhelming. My prayer is that in these 30 days, you’ll be reminded that God is with you in every lecture hall, dorm room, late-night study session, and moment of doubt. You are loved, chosen, and equipped to shine.
