College & Christ: A 30-Day Devotional for College Girlsਨਮੂਨਾ

Finding Rest in God
Jesus spoke these words to crowds weighed down by the leaders in their area and life’s pressures. He offered them an opportunity to rest spiritually and physically.
College is exhausting! With late-night studying and extracurriculars, you can get worn out easily. Jesus reminds you that real rest is found in Him. You don’t have to carry every burden alone. When you come to Him, He gives peace for your soul that Starbucks and naps can’t provide!
Here are a few ways to rest in God on campus:
- Start your day with Him in prayer or reading a devotional before class.
- Pause and pray in between classes– Instead of scrolling on your phone, take a deep breath and whisper a prayer.
- Play worship music while walking to class or studying.
- Choose one afternoon or evening each week to unplug from schoolwork and spend time with God in prayer, journaling, or simply being still.
- When worry hits, write it down in a journal or speak it out in prayer, releasing the burden to Him.
Think about this...
What does it look like for you to bring those burdens to Jesus? How can you build rest with Him into your weekly routine?

About this Plan

As a mom, youth leader, and someone who has worked with teen girls for over 14 years, I know this season can feel both exciting and overwhelming. My prayer is that in these 30 days, you’ll be reminded that God is with you in every lecture hall, dorm room, late-night study session, and moment of doubt. You are loved, chosen, and equipped to shine.
