Romans: A 30 Day Visitਨਮੂਨਾ

There are so many metaphors to explain why real growth often only happens in dark and hard seasons. I'm reminded of a seed germinating under the soil, in the dark, needing to push up through the dirt, in order to reach the light.
Paul traces this path from suffering to perseverance to character and to hope.
How have you seen the path to hope travel through suffering and perseverance in your own life?
In your relationship with Jesus, what brings you the most hope right now?
Paul continues on to share the outrageous story of how God shows us His love through the death of Jesus- before we had done anything good or right. He moved towards us, reaching for a relationship and making it possible.
In your own life, how have you seen God move towards you in spite of your self, your actions, or your motives?

About this Plan

Paul's letter to the church in Rome is packed! He is helping this new church establish a vision for what it looks like to be citizens of God's Kingdom. There is doctrine to learn and live by, as well as wisdom for living life in ways that accurately reflect the King. As we take the trip together over the next month, we too see that what we believe, always influences how we live.
