Christ's Zeal for the Father's Will

In His final days in Jerusalem, imagine Christ arriving at the temple courts. What had been built as a sacred space for worship and prayer was now filled with the bleating of sheep for sale and the hurried shouts of merchants. Tables of money blocked the way into the place meant for meeting with God.

Jesus, full of zeal for His Father’s house, could not stand by silently. He came to remove every obstacle that hindered true worshippers from entering God's presence—even at the cost of His own life.

Prayer: Sovereign Lord, thank You for Your zeal for holiness, righteousness, and communion between God and man. Please ignite in me a fire that burns for more of Your presence. Help me to honor Your name and to seek Your kingdom above all else. Purify my heart that I may worship You in Spirit and in truth. Amen.
