The Word in Your Bones

“I have stored up your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.”

David didn’t just carry a sling, he carried Scripture. He didn’t just wield a sword, he wielded God’s Word. To “store” it means more than reading it for inspiration. It means hiding it deep, memorizing it, marinating in it, until it shapes your instincts.

Temptation loses power when your heart is stocked with truth. Anxiety loosens when your mind hums with promises. Sin shrinks when Scripture swells. God’s Word is not just information—it is a weapon, alive and active.

Anointing may set you apart, but the Word hidden in your heart will sustain you there. This plan ends here, but the call does not: open your Bible tomorrow. And the day after that. Keep storing His Word, because what you store today is what will sustain you tomorrow.
