Relationships That Flourish: A 30-Day Devotional on Finding Security in Christ and Growing Healthy Connectionsਨਮੂਨਾ

The last few days, we have reflected on God’s design for intimacy in relationships. For many of us, this brings up regret or painful memories from the past. Today’s passage reminds us that Jesus rewrites our story. No matter what we have walked through, He deals graciously with our brokenness, and He empowers us to walk forward in hope.
In Luke 7, a woman known for her sin courageously approaches Jesus. She weeps at His feet, offering Him the honor and hospitality that His religious host had withheld. Her actions were vulnerable and risky, yet Jesus met her not with judgment but with acceptance. He even came to her defense when the religious people in the room thought poorly of her. Her vulnerability changed her life, and Jesus charged her to go in peace.
We all need forgiveness. Jesus made himself vulnerable so much so that he went to the cross and died in our place. When we realize how much we have been forgiven, we can courageously approach Jesus, who loved us dearly. We don’t have to be ashamed; we can move with hope and confidence in who Jesus is and how we will be welcomed when we come to Him with vulnerability.
In our relationships, vulnerability can be frightening—especially in a world where intimacy and trust are often distorted by sin. When our security is in Christ, it no longer has to be a place of fear. It can become a pathway to deeper connection, healing, and peace. Like the woman, we can rise with assurance, confident in God’s forgiveness and overwhelmed by His kindness toward us.
Reflect: How could knowing you are forgiven empower you to be vulnerable in your relationship with God and others? What holds you back from being vulnerable?
Pray: Lord, thank You for Your grace and forgiveness. You know it all and love me still. Help me to come to You with honesty and courage. Thank You for giving me peace to move forward with confidence.
