DAY 14 OF 60

Romans 3
All We Can Do Is Praise

Paul’s message here couldn’t be clearer: we’re not saved because of where we were born, how we were raised, or even the good things we’ve done. We are saved because of one thing—faith in Jesus Christ. That’s it. That’s the gospel. And it’s for everyone.

Whether you’ve lived a squeaky-clean life or made a mess of things, the same invitation stands. Whether you’ve grown up hearing the Word or you’re only now learning who Jesus is, it’s the blood of Jesus that saves, not your background. The cross makes the ground level for us all.

And when that reality hits you—when you realise what you’ve been saved from—the only response is worship.

Paul says we have no room left to boast in ourselves. Not in our heritage, our knowledge, our moral record, or our religious habits. The only thing we get to boast in is how good our God is. That’s why the psalms say, “Enter His courts with thanksgiving.” Before we start listing all the miracles or blessings, we pause and remember: He saved us.

How long could you spend just praising God for that? No fancy testimony, no wild transformation story—just the quiet, unshakeable truth that the punishment for your sin was taken by Jesus, and because of that, you’re free. Fully forgiven. Fully loved.

This is the heart of our faith. This is the reason we gather, sing, pray, and read. This is the truth that humbles us and lifts us up at the same time. Salvation is not something we’ve earned. It’s a gift we receive. And the only thing we can do in return is live lives of gratitude.

So today, stop and thank Him. Thank Him that He didn’t wait for you to get it right. Thank Him that He made a way. And then, let your praise rise—not based on what He’s done lately, but on the eternal fact that He saved you.

God is worthy of all our praise. Always. Forever.

About this Plan

Romans

Romans is more than a letter of personal salvation—it is a sweeping vision of God’s faithfulness. Paul retells Israel’s story, showing how God’s saving righteousness is revealed in Jesus, uniting Jew and Gentile, and forming a Spirit-filled family. This plan journeys through Romans as Paul unfolds the gospel of God’s new creation, calling believers to live as one people of faith, hope, and love.
