Faith That Feels Real: Part 1 - Lies We Believe About Faithਨਮੂਨਾ

Anxiety Doesn’t Mean You Lack Faith
Maybe you’ve heard the lie: “If I really trusted God, I wouldn’t feel anxious.” But Paul’s words in 2 Corinthians 12:9 tell a different story: “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”
Faith isn’t pretending you’re strong. It’s admitting your weakness and trusting God to meet you there. Anxiety isn’t proof of a failing faith—it’s an invitation to bring your honest fears to the One who is with you in them.
You don’t have to fake it. You can show up to God as you are—shaky, uncertain, anxious—and still be held by His grace.
Reflect & Apply:
- When you feel anxious, what’s your first instinct—hide it, fix it, or bring it to God? Why?
- How might your view of anxiety change if you believed God meets you there with strength instead of disappointment?
- What would it look like this week to be honest with God about one area of worry?
