The Story of Godਨਮੂਨਾ

Now when the Pharisee who had invited him saw this, he said to himself, “If this man were a prophet, he would have known who and what sort of woman this is who is touching him, for she is a sinner.” Luke 7:39 (ESV)
Jesus challenges people’s misguided ideas about who God is and what He’s supposed to be like. For some, He is supposed to be the chill guy who accepts and loves everyone and has no problem with their pleasure-seeking lifestyle. For others, he’s supposed to only really care about what people do in public. Do they go to church? Are they giving to the work of a church or a missions organisation? The truth is, God is not like that. He is merciful and just. He cares about the hearts of people. He wants people to love him from their heart, not as an emotionless duty.
Questions:
Do you have the correct view of God? It’s easy for any of us to accidentally make a god we’re comfortable with, a god who is in line with our personal opinions and viewpoints. However, the truth is, we should allow God to change our opinions and viewpoints to be in line with the objective truths He has created.
