Where Are You, God? 30 First Encounters With Godਨਮੂਨਾ

Day 30: The Great Multitude - Every Nation Represented
Thirty days ago, we began with God speaking the universe into existence. Today, we reach the crescendo of His plan—a vision of every people group that has ever existed gathering in worship before His throne.
John's vision on Patmos was breathtaking: "After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb" (Revelation 7:9).
This isn't a small gathering of the faithful—it is an uncountable throng representing the complete fulfillment of God's promise to Abraham that all nations would be blessed through him.
The Ultimate Diversity
The scene is remarkable in its diversity. Every skin color, every language, every cultural tradition is represented. The elderly Inuit grandmother stands beside the young Kenyan farmer. The Brazilian businessman worships next to the Indian village teacher. Aboriginal Australians join voices with Norwegian fishermen. This is the global family God envisioned from the very beginning.
Unified in Worship
Despite their incredible diversity, they share one voice: "Salvation belongs to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb" (Revelation 7:10). The barriers that once divided—race, language, nationality, social status—have all been dissolved in the presence of Christ. The same Jesus who broke down walls between Jews and Gentiles has united all humanity.
The Promise Nearly Fulfilled
We are living in the most exciting time in history. Bible translation organizations report that God's Word is now available in over 3,500 languages. Missionaries are reaching the most remote tribes. The internet is carrying the Gospel to closed countries. New technology is breaking down barriers around the world. Every day, the Great Commission moves closer to completion.
The Return
One day soon, the final unreached people group will hear the Gospel. The last language will receive the Bible. Like all the “firsts” we have been reading about over the last 30 days, the final tribe will have their first encounter with Jesus. And then, "this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come" (Matthew 24:14). Christ will return to claim His global bride.
From First Word to Final Victory
The same voice that spoke light into darkness will call His people home. The Word that first reached Adam and Eve, Abraham and Moses, the disciples and the Gentiles, will finally gather every tribe and tongue for the greatest worship service in history.
Today, you are part of this unfolding story. Your faithfulness, your witness, your prayers are helping write the final chapters of the greatest narrative ever told.
The Word that went forth from God will not return empty—it will accomplish everything He intended.
