Sowing God's Wordਨਮੂਨਾ

Sowing God's Word

DAY 3 OF 3

Your Place in God’s Plan

As someone who gives to this vision, you are part of something even bigger—you are a Sower of God’s Word.

But it started with God. He is the original Sower. He planted His Word in your heart. He’s been sowing long before any of us, and He’ll continue long after us.

Because we’re created in His image, we’re invited to reflect His nature—to carry on His work by sowing the same Word that first changed us.

But as we sow, we can’t forget the importance of tending the soil of our own hearts.

Letting God’s Word take root in our lives means creating intentional space to connect with Him. It means spending daily time in Scripture, prayer, and reflection. When God planted the seed in your heart, it wasn’t a one-time thing. Like a seed needs good soil, water, and sun to grow, your heart also needs the daily nourishment of God’s presence and His Word.

In the Parable of the Sower, we are reminded that not every seed grows. Life can choke out God’s Word through distraction, anxiety, doubt, and busyness. But when you choose to prioritize daily connection with God and His Word, you continue to grow into His calling and purpose for your life.

God is faithful to complete the work He began in you. And now, as someone abiding in Him, you are called to sow His Word.

Reflect and Respond:

What distractions might keep God’s Word from fully taking root in your heart?

In what ways can you abide in God’s Word today?

Prayer:

God,

You are the original Sower. Thank You for planting Your Word in my heart and making it grow. No matter what is going on in my life, help me to abide in You first as I continue to faithfully sow the seed of Your Word. I may not always see the fruit, but I trust You with the outcome. May I abide in You always as You abide in me.

In Jesus’ name, amen.
