God’s Strengthening Word: Putting Faith Into Actionਨਮੂਨਾ

Introduction
Galatians 3:15—4:7: Paul uses the example of Abraham to demonstrate that it is faith in Christ that makes one a child of God and so also a descendant of Abraham and an heir to God’s promises. He contrasts dependence on obeying the Law with a life of faith that is dependent on God’s promises. Paul assures the Galatians that, through faith, all people may be put right with God and live in union with Christ Jesus.
Today’s Key Verse: Galatians 3:26 GNT
It is through faith that all of you are God’s children in union with Christ Jesus.
Reflect
What does Paul say regarding the purpose of the Law (3:19–25)? Reread verses 26–29. What does it mean to you to be “in union with Christ Jesus”? What does this say to you about your relationship with other believers? How does verse 28 help us think about the ways we differentiate people—by culture, wealth, language, religion, and gender?
Pray
Lord Jesus, I am filled with joy because, as a child of God, I know I belong to you and live in union with you—and your family. Because I have faith in you, I am assured that I am an heir to God’s promises and have been redeemed. Amen.
Tomorrow’s Reading
