Christ Over Everything - Colossiansਨਮੂਨਾ

Theme: A Life That Pleases God
In this section, Paul reveals one of the most powerful prayers in the New Testament. He prays that the believers would be filled with the knowledge of God’s will through spiritual wisdom and understanding. Why? So they could live a life worthy of the Lord and please Him in every way. Paul doesn’t pray for comfort or ease—he prays for depth, for clarity, and for endurance.
A life that pleases God is not measured by outward success but by inward fruit—bearing good works, growing in the knowledge of God, being strengthened with power, and walking in joy. These are not things you can fake or force. They are the result of being filled with the Spirit and rooted in truth.
Paul ends this prayer with a reminder: we don’t earn this life. We’ve been qualified, rescued, and redeemed. God has already transferred us from darkness to the kingdom of His beloved Son. That means we don’t strive for God’s approval—we live from it.
Daily Application: Pray Paul’s prayer over yourself (vv. 9–12). Write it down, personalize it, and ask God to help you live it today—bearing fruit, growing in knowledge, and walking in strength and joy.
