Worship While You Go

Verse:
“And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up.” —Deuteronomy 6:6–7 (NKJV)

Devotional:
One of the best gifts you can give your children is the sound of your voice—singing, laughing, declaring truth in your home. It doesn’t have to be formal or flawless. Let there be joy in the house. Worship as you fold laundry. Talk about the Lord on the way to school. Sing Scripture as you cook dinner. Fun and faith can live in the same space.

Your children will remember more than what you taught—they’ll remember how your home felt. Let your atmosphere be full of rejoicing. Let them see that God’s Word is not just for Sunday, but for every ordinary moment. A home filled with praise is a home where hearts are softened and spirits are shaped.

Prayer:
Lord, help me to make my home a place of joy and truth. Fill our days with laughter, worship, and conversations that lead to You.
