WALKING in TRUE VICTORY (Sound Foundations for a Glorious Christian Life)

DAY 6 OF 31

CONFRONTING THE DEVIL WITH UNDERSTANDING

It is a dangerous mistake to confront the devil with excitement instead of revelation. Luke 10:19 (KJV) says, "Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you." This authority is not based on emotion or volume of shouting; it is rooted in understanding your covenant position in Christ. Many believers run into spiritual battles armed only with zeal, and they suffer needless attacks and setbacks because zeal without knowledge is dangerous. God never designed that we should confront the devil from a place of ignorance. It is knowledge of your victory in Christ that puts the enemy under your feet permanently.

As a believer, you must understand that no enchantment or divination can work against you unless you are ignorant of your covenant rights. Numbers 23:23 (KJV) declares, "Surely there is no enchantment against Jacob, neither is there any divination against Israel..." But this powerful truth only works for those who understand and enforce it. You must know that you are not ordinary. When you got born again, you were moved out of the realm where demonic operations could have free access to you. Authority over the devil is your birthright, but without understanding, you can live far beneath your privileges. Do not approach spiritual battles like a gambler; stand on the solid rock of revelation and enforce your victory boldly.

Many Christians have suffered defeat not because the devil is powerful, but because they were ignorant of their authority. When you understand who you are and what Christ has done for you, you will no longer fear the devil or his agents. Instead, you will confront every situation with the boldness that flows from covenant consciousness. No curse, no spell, and no incantation can prosper against a believer who stands in revelation knowledge. Let your foundation be understanding, not emotion. Stand your ground in Christ, speak with authority, and enforce the victory that Jesus already secured for you at Calvary.

THOUGHT TO PONDER: Are you confronting the battles of life from a place of understanding or mere zeal? How can you build your confidence in the authority Christ has given you today?

PRAYER: Father, thank You for giving me victory through Christ Jesus. Open my eyes to understand the authority I carry. Help me to confront every challenge from a place of revelation and not fear. I receive boldness to enforce my dominion daily. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

About this Plan

WALKING in TRUE VICTORY (Sound Foundations for a Glorious Christian Life)

When a building collapses, the first suspect is always the foundation. In the same way, your Christian life is as strong as the foundation upon which it stands. Psalm 11:3 says, "If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?" Foundations determine durability, strength, and longevity — not just for structures, but also for destinies. It is God’s will that you not only start the Christian race but finish strong.
