Power On!ਨਮੂਨਾ

Does it ever seem like your brain waits for that moment right before you go to sleep to remind you of the stupid things you’ve done this week? You are trying to sleep but all you can think of is a list of regrets.

The wonderful thing about God’s forgiveness is that it gives us a way out of the guilt and regret cycle into freedom. As we receive God’s forgiveness it really does set us free from our regrets, our mistakes, our condemnation. God’s grace is the enemy of regret!

Today, whenever a regret or a mistake comes to your mind, pause and take a deep breath, receiving again God’s forgiveness and breathing out condemnation.

Prayer:

Father, thank You that You accept me, not on the basis of my perfection, but despite it! Thank You that there is nothing that I have ever done that can turn Your love and affection from me. Amen.
