Power On!ਨਮੂਨਾ

Our words have the power to either bring life or tear down. This Proverbs tells us that a righteous person's words are those that are going to bring life, encouragement, edify others, and flow with truth and love.
Those who are wicked (those who choose gossip, harsh words, lies, or words that lack fear of the Lord) are going to have harmful words. We cannot be thoughtless in the words that we use.
The words we use reflect what is going on in our hearts, and God wants us to speak life to those around us. Let's be ones who are intentional about the language we use, how we speak with others, no matter if that is in person, online, or over text.
Prayer:
Lord, teach me to guard my mouth and only use words that would bring life. May the language I use be a reflection of Your character and being hope and encouragement to those around me. Amen.

About this Plan

With Jesus, we want to go from "standing by" to stepping out! Through these readings, experience stories of when God led people to turn "on" their spiritual power and saw the Holy Spirit move through them. God is ready to do miracles on Earth, but we can miss out on what He is ready to do by staying in the boat like Peter nearly did. These Scriptures will encourage you to step out of the boat and see the Power of the Holy Spirit move!
