Pathways to Purposeਨਮੂਨਾ

Have you ever tried to eat a meal with a fork, but it is in fact a spoon kind of meal? You try so hard to get the fork to work, but you just can’t - so you leave the table, get your spoon and all is well. This is what it is like when we trust in man. We try our absolute best to use man as our tool to achieve all things, when Jesus is the only person that can “get the job done”.
I invite you to ask the Holy Spirit this question today, ‘Holy Spirit, would You show me the areas of my life that I trust in man more than I trust in You?’
Prayer:
Father, thank You that there is invitation to trust in You, to find our refuge in You. Would You help us to build our trust in You, and trust less in man. Thank You that You will never forsake us. Amen.
