Faith That Grows — Rising, Deepening, and Widening
Faith is not static—it’s meant to grow. Paul describes a faith that is rooted (deepened), built up (rising), and overflowing (widening). Healthy faith doesn’t just know more about God; it experiences Him more fully and expresses Him more outwardly. Is your faith growing in all three dimensions? A rising faith reaches toward God in worship and trust. A deepening faith anchors you in truth and resilience. A widening faith overflows in love and impact toward others. Too often, we get stuck in one dimension—passionate but shallow, informed but insulated, serving but spiritually dry. But God calls us to a holistic, expanding faith. Where do you need to grow right now? Invite the Holy Spirit to stretch your faith in new ways this season. Don’t settle for a version of Christianity that coasts. You were made for growth.
Applications:
- Identify which dimension of faith (rising, deepening, widening) needs most growth in your life. Pray and act toward growth in that area.
- Set one faith-stretching goal for this month (e.g., consistent Bible reading, joining a small group, serving someone in need).
