What’s something that scares you? Maybe it’s speaking in front of a group, making a tough decision, or stepping into the unknown. Fear is a natural part of life, but this verse reminds us that courage isn’t about feeling fearless—it’s about knowing you’re not alone. Would you describe yourself as a courageous person? You may lack courage today for many reasons, but that doesn’t mean you don’t need it. God told Joshua to be strong and courageous, not because Joshua was naturally brave, but because God was with him. The reality is that the same is true for us, too. Simply put, our courage doesn’t come from our own strength but from knowing we don’t have to face things on our own.
So, where in your life do you need courage? Take a moment to pray about that area, and ask God to help you see that you’re not alone in it!
