Lent: The Journey of Letting Goਨਮੂਨਾ

Week 2: Trusting God’s Guidance in Uncertainty
Theme: Living in God’s Kingdom means embracing a love and faith that often defy our expectations, inviting us to sacrifice, trust, and grow in humility.
Focus Scripture: Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him and He will make your paths straight.”
Connect: Have you ever felt like you had to say the right words for God to hear you? Maybe you’ve wondered if your prayers really matter. Jesus reminds us that prayer isn’t about performance—it’s about connection. God already knows what’s on your heart and wants you to come to Him as you are. What would it look like to let go of the pressure to have it all together and simply trust that God is listening?
Engage: Jesus teaches us the Lord’s Prayer in Matthew 6:7-15, emphasizing humility, trust, and forgiveness. Prayer is not about performance but about surrendering our needs and aligning with God’s will. Notice the movements of the prayer as you acknowledge
Apply: Pray the Lord’s Prayer slowly today, pausing after each phrase to reflect and release your worries into God’s hands.

About this Plan

Lent begins with a call to release control and embrace surrender. By letting go of the burdens we carry, we create space for God’s grace to bring renewal and transformation. Matthew 11:28-30 “Come to me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
