The Kid: An Advent Devotional for Middle Schoolersਨਮੂਨਾ

John 3:16 is probably one of the Bible's most well-known verses. It’s on the bottom of shopping bags, bumper stickers, song lyrics, and more. And honestly, it’s for good reason. Because it’s a verse that shows us just how deep God’s love for us really is. It’s a love that’s unconditional, unchanging, and unbelievably good to us. That love is what motivated God to send Jesus, the Kid who came that first Christmas, to change everything for us once and for all. And it’s that love we remember, celebrate, and experience in new ways each holiday season.
Today, think about how you can focus on God’s love for you this Christmas. Maybe it’s reading more about Jesus’ birth in Scripture, praying that you’d experience God in new ways, or talking to someone in your life about how that love changes things for you. Whatever it is, try to remember how Jesus is the ultimate example of God’s ultimate love for us this holiday season.
