Jesus came to the world in a seemingly ordinary way, but He came to deliver news that was anything but ordinary. He was the Son of God—the Savior the world had been waiting to arrive. Though the beginning of His life was ordinary, the message He came to share with the world was extraordinary. And it’s a message that we celebrate, learn about, and remember each Christmas season.

To remember this, keep working on memorizing this verse. Try texting it to a friend, a member of your Small Group, or even your Small Group Leader, writing as much of it from memory as you can. When you do, share with them one thing it teaches you about what Jesus’ arrival in the world means for us today.
