Let's Talk About...What to Do When Adults Disagreeਨਮੂਨਾ

As a middle schooler, it can feel like you have a lot going on. Between school, after-school activities, family responsibilities, friends, social media, sports, and more, your mind is constantly filled with what you have to do now and what you have to do next. It can be overwhelming, right? It is so overwhelming that it’s easy to lose sight of the people around us. That’s why Scripture tells us specifically to look out for the interests and needs of others. It’s our job as followers of Jesus to open our eyes to the people around us who might be hurting, fighting, or angry. Sometimes, the best way to show someone you care is simply to pay attention to what they’re going through and be willing to help and listen.
Who in your life might need you to pay attention to their needs? A friend, a family member, a person in your small group? This week, ask God to help you see those needs and give you the courage to step up and support them.
