God's Redemption Story (Judges - 2 Samuel)ਨਮੂਨਾ

David & Bathsheba - 4/5
Part of David’s punishment for his sin with Bathsheba was that their son died as a child. Even though David’s sin caused the child’s illness, he still begged God to heal the child. He knew God was mighty, merciful, and gracious. He knew healing could only come from God.
Some of us don’t ask God for help because we believe our sin is too great for God to show us such favor. Others get angry with God and refuse to approach him. And some of us even puff up with the prideful belief that we will fix our problems on our own.
Instead, let’s all take a page from David’s book. Let’s admit our sin, accept Jesus’s free gift of life, and throw ourselves at the feet of the mighty God who loves us and wants to care for us.
