God's Redemption Story (Judges - 2 Samuel)ਨਮੂਨਾ

David & Bathsheba - 2/5
After David had Bathsheba’s husband killed, God sent the prophet Nathan to confront him. When Nathan told his parable, David was quick to condemn the evil man in the story. Unsurprisingly, David didn’t recognize his own sin but needed Nathan to point it out for him.
Don’t we all do this? We easily see someone else’s faults while sweeping our own under the rug. As sinful humans, we all want to hide our ugly hearts. But David was also quick to admit his sin and repent. He turned to God and asked for forgiveness. May we all run to the Savior when we need our hearts to be cleaned.
