Hurtਨਮੂਨਾ

Have you ever sipped a drink thinking it was one thing, and it turned out to be something else? Like you thought it was Coke, but it turned out to be Pepsi (devastating!). It’s one of the worst experiences as far as taste goes, right? It could even be something good, but if it isn’t what you expected, then it still tastes bad. Jesus describes Himself as the Good Shepherd. That means we can trust that He will always be just that: good. Every time we go to Him, He is going to be good. We don’t have to fear that He won’t show up for us, that His character is somehow going to change, or that He won’t be what we expect. Instead, when life around us feels unsteady, we can find comfort in knowing Jesus is consistent.
Today, pay attention to the world around you. Look for reminders of Jesus’ goodness in all you experience.
