The First Letter of Johnਨਮੂਨਾ

Sin Not... And If You sin, then...
When it comes to sin, most Christians fall into two categories. 1. They are very tolerant of sin and ignore their sins, or 2. They are overly critical of themselves when they do sin, and thereby fall into the trap of trying to earn their forgiveness apart from Christ. In which of these do you feel you are prone to?
Sin shouldn’t be tolerated in our lives at all, but we should also know that Christ’s forgiveness is enough, not only for the sins of my past but even for the sins of my present and my future.
Devotional Question:
Are there wrong behaviors in my life that I shrug off? Are there sins in my past that I still feel guilty about or don’t feel forgiven for yet?
About this Plan

1 John is one of the most quoted books of the Bible, and for a good reason: John understood God’s love in a special way. As we explore the pages of this book, let that be our main goal: to understand the love of God better and better, and to grow closer to Him.
