Jehovah: A Name of Godਨਮੂਨਾ

Jehovah Nissi is a name found in Scripture one time. It is pronounced juh-ho-vuh nis-see, and is used in Exodus 17:15. The name means, "The Lord is My Banner."
Moses built an altar and called it Jehovah Nissi.
In battle, each side would fly their banners to give their soldiers a focal point and a sign of hope. God is our banner. His power assures victory over whatever you are facing.
Think about a battle you are in that you are trying to win on your own. Make a choice to allow Him to fight it for you. Put your eyes on Him and the hope that He gives.
To dig deeper, read the whole chapter of Exodus 17.
