LENT - a Journey for Teens: The Places We Goਨਮੂਨਾ

Connection with Yourself
One thing we notice from the story of the encounter between Moses and his father-in-law, is that Moses loses contact with himself. When his father-in-law asks him about it, he blames the people. Even though his workload caused him to be tired and stressed, he also gained something he needed emotionally – acknowledgement. Through this meeting with his father-in-law, he saw more clearly, and his life changed. Through this story, it looks as though our connection with ourselves, is related to our connection with others.
Exercise:
Think about a time you felt real connection. Think about the person, the place and how you experienced it.
Thank Jesus for the experience and share your story with someone.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, I ask for the grace of connection and dialogue in my relationships. Let me glorify You. In the Name of Jesus, Amen.
