“The Lord has done great things for us; we are glad.” In our world, it is tempting to move from thing to thing without truly recognizing what is passing us by. We yearn for what is next and, in doing so, do not completely enjoy our current standing. If we are not careful, that can creep into our relationship with God. We can have a moment of prayer that connects us to His heart and moments later feel distant. We can feel convicted and moments later walk in sin. We can receive a blessing and moments later doubt His care for us. It is good to take time to look back at your life and recall the ways that God has shown himself to be faithful.

Take time to make a list of ways that you have seen God in the last 12 months.
