Messy Christmasਨਮੂਨਾ

Life is not always pretty. There are times when life can be messy, underwhelming, and not what we envisioned. Mary did not expect to be pregnant; Joseph did not expect Mary to be pregnant; and, neither of them envisioned placing their newborn in a manger, or feeding trough for animals. The details of Jesus’ birth may seem underwhelming, but the baby born that day was extraordinary! Jesus would go on to change everything for all of humanity. Although life can be messy, underwhelming, and not what we envision, Luke 2:6-7 shows us that even from a manger God can accomplish the incredible.

Today, allow these verses to encourage you to keep going in the messy and underwhelming times of life because God is capable of doing more than we might ever expect.
