Empathy is essential to any relationship. The ability to truly understand and share someone else's feelings helps you grow past surface-level interactions with them and into a deep and meaningful relationship instead. Jesus came to earth to empathize with us and build a meaningful relationship with each of us. Jesus gifts us with a relationship filled with empathy, grace, and truth.

Today, reread John 1:14 and reflect on the wonderful empathy Jesus showed us by becoming human, just like us. Then, take a few minutes and write down what this empathy means to you.
