Sometimes, taking credit for someone else's great idea can be tempting. Ideas that make you think, "I wish I had thought of that sooner!" But the problem is that it takes the moment of recognition away from the person who earned it. Wouldn't it be nice if there was a way to recognize each other for what we bring to our relationships without feeling like we're competing for recognition?
Because of God's grace, we're all invited to do this! We're all invited into a place of shared recognition because Jesus made a way for us to live in a relationship with God and wants us to share that opportunity. Jesus is God's gift to us, and it leaves no room for anyone to take credit for making way for all of humanity to live with God by our side. No person can say they did that because Jesus already did and is ready to invite us into that experience.
Has there been a time when God showed you grace recently?
